- Worked in Army Hospital (Research and Referral), a 720 bedded superspeciality hospital, the premier institute of the Armed Forces. The hospital has a state of the art Special Care Neonatal Surgical Unit.
- Was the pioneer of Pediatric Laparoscopic Surgery in India. Started Laparoscopy in children in 1998 and had the first paper presented in a National Conference in India at the Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons in 1999 on Laparoscopy for Impalpable Testis.
- Established the Pediatric Minimally Invasive Surgery Programme in 2001 which became the only hospital in New Delhi where Pediatric Laparoscopy was being done routinely in large volumes.
- Have trained numerous Pediatric Surgeons, both civilian and of the Armed Forces, in the art of Pediatric Laparoscopy.
- Recognised teacher for General Surgery in Delhi University since 1999 and actively involved in teaching of postgraduates, nursing and paramedical staff.
