The CTVS department has one state-of-the-art, zero bacteria Operation Theatre each with HEPA filtered laminar airflow system, that is equipped with special ALM (France) surgical lights, fully electronic OT Table (SCHMITZ, Germany) Operating Table, Anesthesia Machine (Dragger), and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) Machine (Phillips C50).

Our Operation Theatres (OTs) have the latest heart-lung machines (JOSTRA HL20), two IABP Machines (IABP CS 100 Maquet -1, IABP Arrow AC3 series -1), and is equipped to perform all types of Cardiovascular Surgeries. The operation theatre also features a HEPA filtered laminar airflow system that ensures that the air inside the theatre is clean and free of bacteria.

Post-operative care is also an essential part of any surgical procedure. The CTVS department has an 18-bedded Intensive Care Unit with state-of-the-art monitors from Agilent Technologies (Germany), central monitoring system, and defibrillators from Hewlett Packard (USA). The ICU also has five single ICU rooms with monitors to provide special care. To provide maximum attention to patient care, KHHI has provided one-to-one nursing care in the Post Operative Intensive Care and Step-Down Units.
