The department caters to a large number of cases per month under Anaesthesia that includes Neuro-surgery, Minimal Access Surgery, Joint Replacement Surgery and Spine Surgery as well. One of the key features of the department is its dedicated pediatric anesthesiology team, which offers specialized services for pediatric and neonatal surgeries with the support of neonatal intensive care.
The department handles a wide array of anesthesia cases every month, including Neurosurgery, Minimal Access Surgery, Joint Replacement Surgery, and Spine Surgery.
Anaesthesia is crucial for major surgeries like heart bypass, where it ensures pain-free and unconscious patient experience, enabling precise surgical intervention.
In obstetrics, epidural anesthesia is administered to alleviate labor pain, allowing mothers to comfortably welcome their newborns.
Patients undergoing joint replacements rely on anesthesia to block pain, making surgeries like hip replacements more manageable. We provide pain-free post-operative period with walking epidurals.
For intricate brain surgeries & Brain Tumors anesthesia induces a deep state of unconsciousness. The availability of Anaesthesia Gas Monitoring (AGM), the state of the Art monitor system, ensures patient immobility and safety.
Procedures such as colonoscopies require sedation through Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), enhancing patient comfort during diagnostic examinations.
Dental surgeries like wisdom tooth removal employ local anesthesia, numbing the area for pain-free extractions.
In cardiology, anesthesia is administered to facilitate heart catheterization procedures, reducing discomfort and ensuring patient safety.
Abdominal surgeries for conditions like Gall Bladder, Appendicitis etc. necessitate general anesthesia for pain control and muscle relaxation.
Cosmetic surgeries like Rhinoplasty & implants employ anesthesia to achieve patient comfort and immobility during procedures.
In Road traffic accidents (RTA) & major trauma, anaesthesia & Intensive Care team helps in resuscitation, & stabilizing the patients, to be further managed with definitive surgeries, and after care.
The department provides a specialized Critical Care Transport Service, operating as a mobile ICU to retrieve critically ill patients from distant locations. Equipped with monitoring and ventilation capabilities, this service ensures timely and safe patient transportation.
